Hello friends! Welcome to a portion of Dave’s dialogue for today, the 14th of January 2023. The first half of January is almost over and I hope your efforts to keep your New Year’s resolutions are paying off. In Western Pennsylvania, the weather has been moderate and except for the severe snowstorm and cold spell we experienced during Christmas. We’re making our way through winter and I hope you are too.

Recently, I was browsing through a variety of films when I came across one on Dr. Shaklee, which I believe was produced in 1994, or almost 20 years ago. I watched it because I had the time.

It definitely hit home for me!

Dr. Shaklee was a fantastic person. Dr. Shaklee truly was “A man ahead of his time“. He was a scientist, an inventor, a philosopher, a humanitarian, a chiropractor, an entrepreneur, and by default, he was also awarded an honorary degree in divinity. Dr. Shaklee truly was an original and so many of us decided to support his cause by becoming volunteers. We were all touched by his philosophy.

Moving along, here’s the moving story of Dr. Forrest C. Shaklee.

When he launched the Shaklee Corporation in 1956 at age 62, he did it with these guiding principles for which the company has never strayed even one inch. The product philosophy is “In harmony with nature and good health.” And the business philosophy has never waivered from the Golden Rule.
